Robinhood Chain Quickly Tops Charts as Leading RWA Holder Network
Robinhood Chain has taken the lead as the biggest blockchain by real-world asset holder count. This happened less than a month after its mainnet launch and shows strong growth in on-chain finance.
Fast Start for a New Ethereum Layer 2
The network launched on July 1 as an Ethereum layer 2 built for regulated assets. It uses Arbitrum tech to settle trades on Ethereum. Right away it pulled in users who already trade stocks and ETFs through the Robinhood app.
Key Numbers That Show the Lead
Data shows the chain now has <330,000 RWA holders>. It holds $24.12 million in distributed asset value and over $20 million in represented asset value. Around 1,900 tokenized assets live on the network. Monthly transfer volume sits at $750 million.
Other chains trail behind in holder count. Solana comes second, then Plume, Ethereum, and BNB Chain. Yet Ethereum still leads in total value locked with nearly $18 billion in RWA assets.
Why Users Are Moving Fast
Robinhood started with millions of brokerage customers. This ready audience helped drive quick adoption of tokenized US stocks and ETFs. Users can now trade these assets 24 hours a day across Europe.
The chain focuses on regulated finance rather than general DeFi. This design makes it easy for traditional investors to enter the space without learning complex crypto tools.
Current Activity Mix on the Network
Tokenized stocks are not the main driver yet. Meme coin trading makes up most of the decentralized exchange volume right now. Stablecoins are growing too, with market cap up 22 percent and now near $500 million.
Over time the company expects tokenized equities to become the main feature. For now meme coins bring daily activity while the RWA side builds steadily.
What Comes Next
More tokenized products are planned for Europe. The network keeps adding assets and improving tools for round-the-clock trading. This steady expansion could bring even more holders in the coming months.
Robinhood Chain shows how an existing user base can speed up blockchain adoption. Its early lead in RWA holders proves that real-world finance and crypto can grow together on one network.
